Incredible $30 Cartography Software Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned with an encore available through early December. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by a specialized software company throughout their history, the complete package carries a value of over $1,300. Primary Feature

The big draw is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 offers enhanced value by adding in permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, alongside a slew of additional tools and content that can help users craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and continents from almost any perspective. Users can also create character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously an even better deal for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the applications only function on Windows.

Charitable Component

As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief.
